*Hire a builder or build it yourself…This cabin has been designed with construction materials that do not require heavy equipment or large delivery trucks, which can be difficult to navigate in remote locations.No need for large excavation equipment for foundation work since the structure is on concrete piers, using Sona tubes for formwork.All materials can be brought to the site with a pickup truck and a 16 ft. flatbed trailer.Whether you are hiring a builder or building this cabin yourself, you will appreciate the thought that has gone into the design and construction plans. This tiny cabin can be easily constructed by 2 experienced people.
ALL-IN-ONE DESIGN:
No equipment sheds for the off-grid systems are required to be built separately/away from the cabin, with the exception of the Solar Panel Array which we specify to be located on a racking system on the ground. All mechanical systems, components of the rainwater harvesting system, solar generator are located in an enclosed & insulated shed for easy access.
The plans come with 2 design options for the location of the equipment shed:
Option 1: Underneath the cabin. Cabin height will be higher off the ground.
Option 2: Behind/attached to rear of the cabin. Cabin height will be lower to the ground.
